Our beautiful one-acre lush tropical paradise is located south of Hilo and near Kea'au and Pahoa Villages in the rainforest..
The studio apt. is upstairs has a great deck to view garden. Follow sidewalks to Tropical gardens at back of house,coconut palms, orchids , anthuriums and lush tropical plants.
A piece of paradise to call home while you are on the Big Island. Go to sleep with frogs chirping and stars so bright you could almost touch them. Wake up to birds singing and complimentary Hawaiian coffee . Pamper yourself, shower in our collected rainwater.
Automatic quotes for 1 bedroom are for 1-2 guest.
We live on property behind the rental.
Please read house rules in apt. It is customary to remove shoes upon entering the apt.

This was an ideal location for us and close to where we wanted to go on the Big Island. The room was compact and had everything we needed. The property is charming and was especially amazing at night with laser lights twinkling all over the gardens. Plenty of off road parking was a nice bonus. Would definitely recommend to others!

There's no AC, so make sure you don't mind the heat. Instructions were clear and check-in was easy. It's not exactly an "apartment" per se but more like a small room with an en suite bathroom. There was a cockroach in the bed the first night but it was dead already, and Hawaii is known for having bugs. Hosts were friendly, but not super responsive.

This is the cutest studio apartment ever! Close to Hilo & everything on the east side of the island. Very clean, comfortable bed, so quiet at night. I would stay here again in a heartbeat

A lovely place to stay! We vacation at the Big Island twice a year and always stay with Kepi and Jim. They are 100% the best hosts! There is a number of different bungalows to choose from; studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom. Always clean and reasonably priced. Lovely grounds and close to everything.

Stepping onto this property felt like walking into the world of Avatar—bursting with vibrant colors, calming scents, and breathtaking scenery that instantly puts you at ease. This spot exceeded every expectation and ranks among the best places my partner and I have stayed. Stayed in this lovey studio for two nights to visit the Hilo side of the island. Location was great for going into Hilo for supplies, and it also made a great home base to visit Mauna Kea and Hawaii Volcanos National Park. The studio itself had everything we needed for our two nights. We enjoyed sitting outside on the lanai at night to enjoy the cool night air. You'll also want to explore the property grounds as it feels like you are in a jungle parades during the day, and a magical land at night with the laser lights.Only cons:No AC and coqui frogs are loud at night and roosters start crowing around 3:00 a.m. Bring earplugs.Pillows were very flat so we woke up with sore necks.
