This was a beautiful facility and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is great if you are into country living, since it is a working farm about a five minute drive from the nearest town. Just be sure to ask for the correct postal code before going because the one given by Hotels.com is incorrect.

Great pub, great room, great food.

This property was a find! I was concerned driving there as it was located in the middle of nowhere and thank God for Google maps else I don't know how I would find it. But what a delight! The room was comfy. The food was great. The service was exceptional. The bar was just a lot of fun. It was very convenient to Hadrian's wall

I stayed here one night on my way down to the Lake District. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent as was service. (I particularly appreciated that they had gluten free bread available in the morning.) The room was very clean and charming with french doors opening to a private deck. There was a kettle, but a small fridge would have been nice. There was ample parking close to the door. Hosts were very friendly and easy to chat with. The double room was large, with a luxurious bathroom and an adjoining workspace. Breakfast was not only ample but flexible; you could mix any combination of items you wanted. Daniella was helpful in making sure we had everything we wanted.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at The Langley Castle! The staff is fabulous, we definitely recommend taking the tour. Dinner was a work of art, the duck confit was unbelievably delicious. Breakfast was very tasty. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. The Derwentwater Suite was a gem. Highly recommend this property and we will want to visit again!

Very nice traditional country Pub/Hotel

The Queens was a little gem in the countryside. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent and far exceeded normal pub fair. The room was small but well appointed and clean. The location was great for visiting Hadrian's Wall. Breakfast was also quite nice.
