"We had an amazing view of the sea from which we dined at our balcony a couple of times. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was great. They were able to book our tours and arrange transportation from the hotel to the airport/train station. We would highly recommend staying here."

"Great location in the middle of everything but also quiet. Excellent view from the balcony and everything recently redone. Good bed and choice of thin or thick pillows which we appreciated. The breakfast was very good and the lady who prepared the breakfast and cleaned the room was a sweetheart."

"In my opinion this is the very best location in all of Sorrento. Overlooking the central square, above an excellent restaurant, and a 5 minute walk from everything including the train station. This is a wonderful family run property with the very best of care and service for their guests, with beautifully appointed large rooms complete with every comfort necessary. An abundant breakfast buffet stated our day perfectly each day of our stay with some of the best cappuccino we had in 2 weeks in...

The location was excellent, close to the lift you can take up from the port if youāre coming by boat. Close to lots of restaurants and a great view of the sea and port. We were upgraded to a king room with the largest shower I have ever seen in Italy. The front desk staff was super friendly. Daily happy hour and breakfast were wonderful perks. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice hotel. Great location, very clean, and the staff were helpful. The Butā¦The only downside was the discotheque club located beneath the hotel. Opened at 11pm until 3am. The music bass was very noticeable. Have to imagine all low floor hotel rooms hear and feel this. The three of our phones sound apps were on high volume to try to washout music.

This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. Lovely place

The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!

The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. The service from all the staff whether it be registration, concierge, dining, pool, cleaning or spa wax consistently top notch. It is a physically pleasing site and is close to all the shops and restaurants in the main area of Sorrento. We were there for 8 days and could have stayed longer. Our first trip to Sorrento, and we couldn't have a picked a more perfect hotel. The hotel, more like a private guesthouse is centrally situated on the piazza with short, colorful walks to everything, including the train/bus station. There are cozy cobblestone streets with shops and wonderful restaurants. Most of all, La Piazzetta is most welcoming with smiling helpful staff, and big, bright, clean and thoroughly indulgent modern rooms. We felt we hit the jackpot with our superior corner room,...

What a lovely experience in Sorrento. This property is located right next to the church bells in the Main Street city center. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We missed our connecting flight and they were very helpful in guiding us to the property and assured us that everything was ok. Our room faced the main shopping area which was very convenient. We loved the sound of the church bells it made us feel energized and ready to start the day.

Great location less than a block from the main plaza. Our room was right next to the elevator and we never heard a sound. Only a few blocks to the train station and bus stops. Many great restaurants nearby. Best breakfast buffet in our whole 26 days in Italy. Left a jacket and they had it sent to our next hotel on Capri for a minimal charge.

We stayed at this property in June of 2021, and we loved it. The property is located close to the marina, and it is clean. We are a family of 4 and we had plenty of room. We loved sitting out on the upstairs deck each day/night. Great view!! The property is located directly across the street from a grocery store which was convenient. And, the bus stop is in front of the property. The owner, Simone, is amazing. He communicated with us prior to our trip, and he was so accommodating and...

Loved this B&B! I've never stayed in anything like this. The woman on the night shift at check-in was so helpful. She helped us drive ALONG THE WATER on the narrow path to the complimentary parking area. She also allowed us to store our luggage in the office while we did a day trip to Capri. The view from the room was outstanding. A lovely breakfast buffet in the morning too.

Truly the most incredible service. They gave recommendations for food right when we got there and on our last day when the ferry was canceled assisted with helping me find other transportation. Best breakfast of my life. We were celebrating my 30th birthday and they brought me a candle!! The shower was the shower of my dreams. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Staff was excellent and very helpful in pointing us where we needed to be. Common areas were beautiful and breakfast very good. Room was nice with a good bed. Bathroom was small but adequate. Wifi was difficult to use requiring repeated log on and my mail app refused to work with it.

Great staff- friendly, helpful with planning our day and referring us to local places based in what we requested or were looking for. Nice little bar. Great morning breakfast buffet. Nice pool area and patio in front of hotel to enjoy a cocktail. Beautiful views of the ocean. Would definitely stay again.
