"We were obsessed with this hotel. It was so pretty and eclectic inside, great art and decor in the rooms. Staff was so nice and the breakfast was to die for. We did a very impromptu whisky tasting and learned a lot- it was better than the whisky tour we did earlier in the week. We were sad to go and can’t wait to visit again! "

"Great location! Easy parking. Hotel restaurant was great! The room was very nice I only wish the bed had been more comfortable. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was great. "
"We paid for the Castle view room-- it was amazing-- well worth it. We were there in late July/early August-- fireworks and music you could see from the room every night. Very busy area with lots of shops and pubs but things close early-- not loud when you want to sleep..."
"I liked the fact that it was a historic building, but the room was fully modern with great amenities. I loved the view of the castle from my room as well.
The staff were above and beyond fabulous.
I only have one complaint. The toilet was in its own little compartment and a bright light came on when one entered. This light could not be turned off. As someone who gets up during the night to use the toilet, that light was very shocking to the system. It would be wonderful if there was an option to disable it."
"This hotel was lovely, in a perfect location with access to new town, old town, and tram, bus and rail service. The hotel was lovely with a cool seating area out front. The staff was absolutely lovely, so nice and helpful. This was my first trip to Scotland and the staff made an incredible impression on me. Thank you!"
