"This is a great hotel. Upon entering, I was welcomed in by a young man who offered to hold my bags until I was able to check in (I arrived very early). The front desk staff was great. Despite being hours early to check-in, I was able to get a room immediately and with no fuss. The young man walked me to my room (the hotel itself is a bit of a maze). There was a nice courtyard and pool. The room itself was very clean and spacious. It is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in a while for cleanliness and spaciousness. The TV worked well and the restroom was clean. I did see some areas on the shower tile that could use a deep cleaning (the grout was discolored from use and time), but otherwise, it was very clean. The room smelled nice and was comfortable. The hotel is also in a great location, it is a short walk to Jackson Square and close to Cafe Du Monde and other typical, popular tourist spots. I was in town for a conference and wanted to do some sightseeing as well so this hotel was a great in between spot. Unfortunately, I had to check out so much earlier than I expected due to an emergency. I wish I was able to enjoy the extent of my stay at this great hotel! Regardless, I will be coming back to this location for future vacations. "

"My stay was beautiful. I experienced very loud neighbors in the middle of the night. And the front desk immediately accommodated me. They moved me and after i realized i left my phone charger in the previous room; they literally escorted me back to the to retrieve my charger. And as a cherry on top gave me a food credit for the inconvenience. The staff made me feel like i was home. The next time i come to new orleans, this will be the only place i stay!"

"I will start by saying I travel often. Having said that, this was the absolute worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. The lobby was beautiful--it gave a false impression of the dirtiness of the rooms. Ceiling fan was full of dust. There was a cockroach in one of our rooms so we ended up canceling that one room and 4 of us roomed together in a part of the hotel that wasnt waaaay back in the cut where they originally put us. They put us on the 5th floor which apparently is having water damage bcz there was a fan going constantly on the rug. It was muggy in the hallway of the 5th floor. I dont get it-- we had reservations which we made month or so prior... yet somehow we get the nastiest floor in the hotel!? Are all of the rooms this filthy? We canceled one of the rooms and Im hopeful that we dont get charged cancellation fees.. we had BETTER not!"
