"We had a lovely stay at the Columbia! They were very helpful with things we needed to refrigerate and the staff were very friendly, particularly the young lady working the desk on the evening of the 30th and morning of the 1st (sorry, I didn't get her name). The hotel was in a great location, being just off Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens and having a bus stop just outside. I will definitely look to stay again when in London!"

"Doormen - very pleasant and always on duty Luggage porter - nice and friendly Front desk - extremely courteous Concierge- extremely courteous, informative, helpful and friendly Room/bathroom - everything in the room/bathroom very comfortable and pleasant, very clean, of course the room could have been little wider and more drawers in the closet especially for longer stay Some communication issue between front desk and room cleaning staff. We requested blanket instead of duvet but wasn’t changed to blanket. The number of tea, coffee etc. was not the same every day, some days not enough of one type of tea, or not enough coffee and milk, but if we called to request it was delivers very quickly. We will definitely go back to this hotel. Thank you "

"Staff were always helpful, polite and friendly. The room was clean and had a small fridge, safe and a TV. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom was very compact, there was always hot water. Two towels were provided although each one not big enough to cover one’s òbody. Th e sun came in through the window in the mkt inv which w a good view of trees and the sun "
