Location ideal for museums. Paid for upgrade to room and it was modern and nice. Worth £40? Can’t say as I didn’t see the Grand King to compare. Breakfast was ok, not brilliant. Staff all good. Disappointing you have to pay a lot for a swim! Only negative is the stupid shower head - if you turn it on, you get soaked with cold water and rainfall showers are no good for a shower without hair washing."

"Check in was very easy and quick.. a shout out to Abni who was very courteous and helpful. Room was very clean( windows could do with a clean) and the bed was very comfy. Room had tea/coffee facilities with an iron, safe and mini fridge ( which made a little noise!) . Breakfast was very good with a good choice. The hotel is very convenient to public transport and shopping "
