The hotel's breakfast buffett was wonderful with lots of fresh pastries, fruit, eggs and meats. I highly recommend this hotel in downtown Reykjavik. "

"The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Any request we had was promptly dealt with. We like that the hotel has someone on the front desk 24/7. The breakfast room is lovely and the breakfast buffet had excellent food and many choices. The hotel is a heritage property that has been beautifully renovated. "We liked the staff and location. Food is very expensive in Iceland so the complimentary breakfast was great. There was a little bar if you fancied a drink. The lobby was cozy and was nice to visit with our friends. Our room 406 was oddly shaped if you are tall ask for a different room. It was also noisy there was a pub next door. We would stay again."
