"The room was ok. Air conditioner worked well. The bathroom needs upgrading and there was no hot water for showering. I contacted them and was told they were sending someone to fix it and it wasnā€™t fixed. I left a day early and had to book a hotel elsewhere because I just couldnā€™t take having to shower in cold water for another day. I contacted them again and asked for compensation and they offered me a discount for my next reservation with them; as if after this experience I would want to...

"pool/ beach was great and thatā€™s as far as iā€™ll go. the room and upkeep was TERRIBLE. They say that the wave wing in the hotel was updated, however, first night, there was a leak under the carpet and they couldnā€™t change our room until the next day. the room we were moved to did not have a leak, BUT had a black mold coming out the vent into the bathroom when we shower. To add insult to injury, the carpet in between the bed smelled of cheese/a sneaker that has been worn over again with no socks on. When we addressed these concerns there was no offer of a new room. We were stuck in this room for three more nights. Not to mention, we all developed sore throats during our stay, and once we landed back in NY, our sore throat was gone. I would not advise anyone to stay here for solely health concerns "
