"This was our first time staying outside of the South Seas Resort on Captiva Island. We found the Captiva Sunset neighborhood to be perfect in every way. Walk to everything, restaurants, library, Island Shop for groceries, bike rentals, Chapel By The Sea and more. The neighborhood is very quiet, and yet at night you can hear the soft sounds of music from the restaurants nearby. The community pool l is one of the nicest I have ever seen with more than adequate chairs and a large swimming area....

"The place was very clean, the bed comfortable and all was good. With stone floors, I would suggest that all future guests bring their slippers. The only criticism I would make is that it is about .3 of a mile from the unit to the beach parking lot and then about the same from there to the beach, so the walk to the beach was further than we thought it would be from the listing. Because of that distance, you really do want to load up the car with he chairs and beach items rather than walk it."

"Lovely lovely cottage a short walk to a private beach. Beach gear in the closet (two chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler!). We rode the available bikes to the beach everyday- 3 minute bike ride! Nice lagoon in the back to watch the pretty birds. Room is quaint-just right for 2 people for a 3-day stay! We will for sure be back! (The bed is not comfortable but we made due!!!!) :-)"

"Such a relaxing and magical place to visit!! We enjoyed that we were in a neighborhood setting, with friendly neighbors. The cottage was immaculate! The maintenance guy stopped by for a routine maintenance and addressed some very minor concerns which weren’t negatively impacting our stay but definitely made our stay better!! We had easy access to the beach and nice beach amenities were provided for us to use during our stay. Before our arrival we sent two different emails (one through HomeAway...
