Not only is the location of this hotel fantastic, overlooking the Ischia Ponte and the Castel Aragonese and in the proximity of great restaurants, the hotel proprietor, Anna Buono is generous and gracious, and provided us with really helpful pointers on what to see and do while we were in Ischia. Anna truly loves what she does and you can tell that in the way she treats her guests. She made recommendations to see the Negombo thermal baths, the Giardini la Mortella botanical gardens, and to tour...

Our family of four had such a nice, relaxing time at this resort. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with two twin beds and one king size bed. The resort facilities were neatly kept and designed to maximize the stunning views of the sea and sunset. There were a few quaint little shops and restaurants to explore within walking distance. The weather was cool, so it was the perfect time of year to enjoy the heated outdoor pools. This was our kids' favorite stop on our Amalfi Coast tour,...

I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for a stay on Ischia. The neighborhood is awesome and they have an agreement with a beach club nearby to give you beach access and a really nice bistro on the beach.

I was so impressed by this property. So unique and great service. Loved the van to the town and Negombo. Manager was outstanding. Breakfast and dinner were very nice and the price was good.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Zi Carmela. The staff was wonderful and accommodating (especially Loretta). The hotel is centrally located in Forio. Dina loved her spa treatments. We highly recommend staying at Hotel Zi Carmela when visiting Forio.

The owner was so helpful making reservations for us to have rabbit at a local restaurant, it was delicious. The last day we were there he even found the herb used in the rabbit dish. This herb can only be found on this Island. Helped organize a day at the thermal spa, great place to visit. The breakfast were great, with jams and fruit out of his own garden.

Imma was amazing , she was there to answer any questions we had , she made us feel very welcome. The location is very cozy . We love walking around so it was perfect for us . Just straight shot down walk about 20 minutes and you will get to shops and restaurants but a quick place to sleep .

Wonderful hostess — she worked to assist us with renting scooters. The breakfast buffet was full of variety and local fruits. The tiled floors and scenic balcony of the room were beautiful Italian! The hotel is located close to the ferries and easy to find. I would definitely choose to stay there next trip to Ischia!

First off, they were able to send a driver last minute to pick us up from the airport. Thank you, Franco! The Naples area is very busy and we decided not to rent a car that we booked. So glad we chose not to.
Second, without prior reservations for activities the front desk was able to speak with tour and guide service for various activities (though, if there is a specific tour you prefer I would plan ahead). We ended up going to Capri and a taxi was booked for us through the hotel.

Great location, great staff, and great AC!!! There is even a good sized parking lot which is hard to come by in the Bacoli/Monte Di Procida area. Rooftop bar has incredible views as well. Would definitely stay again. Right on the beach, walkable to just about everything. Can't beat it.
