"Beautiful old style of a house. Located in Santa Teresa, a hill nearby Centro. Next to Sambodromo. The area ist nice and safe. The owner is a nice family, he and his wife run a good service . Room has to share the bathrooms, it is very clean so it is okay to share. The biggest room has aircondition and nice view. The buildung is old, the law protected from any changing. The owner has to ask for permission for any changing of the house. He is going to do more comfortable for this hotel."

"This was by far, the best accommodation we have had in Rio. The room was absolutely incredible. It was beyond clean, the service amazing, and the owners were so helpful and friendly. The views are spectacular and the breakfast was out of this world. When they heard I was vegan, they’ve even baked a vegan cake for me. I can only recommend this to anyone traveling to Rio."
