The immediate area around the property looks like in the middle of the construction. It's not very clean at all. Once you walk over to the shopping center, about 5 minutes away, it's nice and you can also walk along the beautiful Charles River.

"First time at a CitizenM Hotel. I will definitely be back. Modern, clean, very good HVAC and firm, comfortable bed. Rooms are on the smaller side though efficiently laid out. Perfect for solo travel or couple that like one another and wish to be on the go. The common areas have a good vibe and staff is friendly. Back Bay location is great with lots of eats, shopping, and 15 min walk to Fenway. "
