We loved this hotel! It was way more than we expected. The food was excellent & menu choices were great. The pub area was lively & fun. The owners & staff went above & beyond to accommodate our every need. The breakfast was outstanding & they have the best coffee. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The town is very well located & a short driving distance to many attractions in the area.

The room was clean and well decorated. Storage was nice but we didn’t use it due to us only being there one day. The staff were very personable (family run). I love the history behind the property -available in the binder. They also had a magazine featuring the surrounding area.
Very picturesque and not far from Freshwater East

Myself and my partner had the most wonderful stay, it’s nice and rural but not too far anyway from anything. The property is modern but feels country, it’s really smart. All of the staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us! We will definitely being going back, thank you so much..

Our host was delightful. He answered all our questions about Wales and football.
The food was so good, both dinner and breakfast. I especially liked the new potatoes.

Our stay was truly wonderful from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning—rich in history and full of character—and the gardens are simply breathtaking. Being able to walk down to the River Usk and wander for miles through the open fields was such a special experience.
