"Good position to walk into town. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Room was clean - bed conformable, bathroom very clean and toiletries provided with an extra box of provisions (toothbrush, razor, sanitary products etc). Room had fridge with complementary drinks. All excellent service. Breakfast was comprehensive with a good choice of options."

"The main reason for my 2 star rating was the unacceptable noise at night. Sounded like a immersion heater or similar going beserk. It was like trying to sleep next to a jet engine. I was in room 2. I left very early as it was so bad, I just couldn't stand the noise. The hotel wasn't too bad, but ifyou can't sleep what's the point of staying? Not recommended. I'm glad it was only one night."

"Guest house is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the station, town centre shops and seafront yet situated on a quiet back street, room was on the top floor with no lift, small but great value for the budget traveller and with very friendly hosts."
