Toronto Don Valley Hotel and Suites

"Convenient location, easy parking, very good value for money. The building itself is starting to show its age. The main lobby and entrance are well-kept, but the architecture is from the era when room corridors were only 7-8 foot ceilings, not the high ceilings that are more common now. The room was spacious and clean. The door and bathroom were a bit older in style and decor, but not a problem. Was nice to have a functioning balcony. Air conditioner was an older model - effective, but noisy. Didn't get to try the restaurant or bar, as this was a work trip and we ate out with the team. While you can certainly find nicer hotels in the city, they are also priced accordingly. So it mainly comes down to how much you are willing to spend. Other colleagues spent 3-4x as much at a different hotel and had nicer rooms, but I was fine with my choice and very happy with the price."

"I have no concerns with the hotel. I did have one blip with Valet parking. I waited an extra 15 minutes because I didn’t see that my car was parked away from the window so missed seeing it. Could someone not have let me know after a few minutes that my car was there."

"I spent a long mom/daughter weekend in Toronto with my 10 year old and we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. From the front desk greeting and up to our departure, we couldn't have been happier with our experience. The service in the restaurant (for breakfast) was easy and quick. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel's location is ideal given that it was walking distance to shows, near restaurants, and in the heart of downtown. We only took an Uber once - to the CN Tower. As a frequent traveler, I'd highly recommend this DoubleTree location in Toronto to friends and family."

"We came for the MonstaX concert, and their theatre is connected to their casino/hotel which made things really easy. The property is well maintained, and the hotel room was very high quality and wonderful! We did not use the casino. It was a 30 minute drive to downtown Toronto, but we would definitely stay here again!"
