The Parker Hotel and Rooftop

The Parker Hotel and Rooftop

10/10 Excellent
"We took a family vacation to British Columbia and spent three wonderful days in Vancouver where we stayed at the Parker Hotel and Rooftop. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Manager and the front desk staff. They seemed genuinely happy to receive us and throughout our stay they greeted my by name. We had a busy itinerary so they made the check-in process quick and easy and were very helpful in pointing us in all the right directiions for the things that we wanted to do. The proximity of the hotel to many of the attractions Vancouver has to offer visitors was a bonus, we were a 20 min walk to Stanely Park and a wonderful strip of restaurants/bars etc on Henman St. Davie St., two blocks away from the hotel was a lively street at night and we enjoyed a number of outstanding meals in the small "mom and pop" restaurants along that strip. The breakfast package at the hotel was conveninet and decent allowing us to have an efficient start to each day. The service there was friendly and courteous and the breakfast options were limited in number and again fine. The housecleaning service was outstanding. Those ladies cleaned and prepared our room every day with care and pride!!!!!!! Thank you. The rooftop lounge provided a wonderful setting for a coctail. But, as with everything in BC it was not cheap. Finally, cudo's to the gentleman who parked and retrieved our car all of them were most courteous and professional."

"Other than the luggage didn’t arrive in our room right away our stay was fantastic. I had to call to get directions to park but it was so nice to be in the heart of downtown in such a beautiful historic building that kept the old theme and details but modernized what was needed for comfort. So glad I booked this. It was over our budget but worth it."
