The converted barn has all the ingredients for a restful retreat nestled in a beautiful farm looking out over Cheddar and surrounds. We had a great time with hosts that got the balance right between friendly and helpful and leaving us to do our own thing. Would be back in a flash if Australia wasn’t so far away. "

"Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mill Batch Cottage. The cottage is exactly as described and was warm and cosy and very comfortable. It had everything you might need for your stay and a lovely garden. It’s really well located for the surrounding towns and villages - we visited Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wedmore and Tyntesfield during our short break. Would happily return."

"We returned to stay at the Old Stables again for a few days, coupled with a visit to Glastonbury and Wells. Again, everything was perfect and we love the location, providing excellent access to both towns, with a wonderful rural setting. The space is warm and cosy, with everything being thoughtfully provided for a self-catering stay. We will certainly be back!"

"This is an amazing cottage in the middle of very beautiful English countryside, like one would see in the Miss Marple series. It is very thoughtfully furnished and organised - there was everything one would need for a stay - comfortable beds, nice seating area, lots of storage space, all the necessary toiletries in the bathroom and condiments in the kitchen. "Lovely large house that accommodated 10 of us easily. Great large entertaining space with ample room for everyone to sit comfortably and great dining table that seats 10. Kitchen very well equipped with 2 ovens making it so easy to cater for a large group. All bedrooms lovely with great matresses for a good nights sleep. Lovely outside space as well and ample off road parking."

"We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage that has all the needed essentials except a microwave oven. Great to have the Coop store across the street, and although walkable restaurant options are limited, we enjoyed the Chinese takeout just a couple minutes away."
