"Excellent stay! I took my partner for our engagement and it was so special. The staff were so important in ensuring our night was completely perfect. They upgraded our room with one with a balcony! Whilst going out of there way to decorate our room with complimentary champagne and chocolate treats, for our return back to the room after our evening meal in the fabulous leven restaurant! I’d like to thank everyone involved in making this stay a memory that will be with us forever. 5* Andrew"

"Lovely quirky place with a very friendly, helpful manager. Our room was OK, rather basic but overall nice and clean. There are no breakfast facilities so it means a drive into Yarm - tho it's a really lovely town. The pub is very close by and does do evening meals. "
