"You definitely need a car to explore all of big island! BUT if not, then that’s OKAY if you’re staying at this hotel! PRIME location. You’re right down the street from the shopping center/strip for food, abc store runs, souvenirs, the pier, and a calm beach perfect for kids! & nothing better than free breakfast and coming back from a hot day in the sun to AC! Highly recommend. I stayed a week - 2 adults, 3 kids. Uber available for other local tour/beach locations too. "

"Loved it here! Would have stayed longer but they were booked up. Great location. Short BEAUTIFUL walk to the beach/park. The woman at the front desk was so nice and helpful! A+"

"We stayed at 3 different resorts/bnb's and this was our favorite! The location is great for exploring volcano NP and South Point. The one bedroom suite was so spacious with a large kitchen/living room, and comfortable beds. Just make sure to do your grocery shopping ahead of time as there are not many options nearby!"

"Beautiful ocean view room, but no AC, kitchen sink or tv despite being given kitchen towels & dish soap. Tarnished silverware in drawer to use…ew! TV for storm information would’ve been useful. AC would have made room more comfortable due to storm/rain making it impossible to leave windows open plus safety in sleeping leaving ground floor windows open & slider unsecure if left open. Roof tore off by storm during our stay. Had to evacuate but given no assistance in securing new accommodation nor...
