"From the start of the break we were made most welcome by all the staff. We were greeted by everyone each day from breakfast to evening, Breakfast on the morning was excellent with a varied choice, especially in relation to cereals, cold meats, fruit and cakes etc. The bar area was mainly outside with table service and again varied number of drinks including the local cocktail Hugo. We would definitely return to the hotel in relation to the above and also for the ease of transport."

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Citta Alta in Bergamo, a great base to get around Bergamo and the surrounding area. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We could not fault our stay. Would recommend this hotel."

"Eliana 's apartment was very comfortable, clean, offered sweet amenities and absolutely full of character. It also is in a great location accessible to citi Alta with a fun little coffee shop/bar just down the street. Unfortunately, the apartment does not have ac or any form of cooling and those beautiful old walls hold in the heat. We were there during unusual heat and We were very warm even at night. I would for sure stay here again in the cooler months but not in the summer heat."

"Hotel was well placed for the new town. Easy parking although access could be better signposted. Room was spacious enough. The lighting in the walk in wardrobe was pretty annoying - motion sensor only which went off very quickly. As we left early, we didn’t try the breakfast but they hotel did offer a take away breakfast which was ok."

"Front desk, bar, and dinner staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and very service-oriented. Only exception was breakfast...a bit of a hectic and crowded food and coffee self-service arrangement with - no obvious line or natural flow so it easily devolves into a mishmash of people going down the tables in different directions, etc. Not a huge deal, but friendly and helpful staff could've eased the human traffic jams and created a pleasant vibe. Instead, their demeanor was sullen - sort of seemed unhappy to be there. When I asked one of them for help because the espresso machine needed emptying of the bin, she seemed annoyed but took care of it right away. Definitely uncharacteristic of the overall experience we enjoyed at the hotel. Comfortable beds and linens, great location for shopping, dining, and walking to the funicular to go up to the Alta Citta. A really great stay."
