"From the moment we arrived we felt tranquil in the beautiful space. From helpful front desk staff checked us in seamlessly and made us feel taken care of. Our room was well appointed, clean, and very quiet. The bed was very good. The waterfall shower was excellent. The concierge was helpful with luggage forwarding (both receiving and sending), as well as arranging a dinner reservation. Highly recommend."

"Great stay in Kyoto Location was perfect, close to train stations, which made getting around Kyoto really easy. The staff were very helpful and polite, and the rooms were very clean. One thing that stood out: they made it easier to ship our luggage to the next hotel, which saved us a lot of hassle. No negatives at all. I'd stay here again without hesitation."

"This was a very nice hotel in Kyoto. I came early, and they let me store my bags while I explored the city and where very nice and helpful with that. It was in walking distance to a former imperial palace, various gardens, etc. The room itself was very nice, good sized by Japanese standards, small(er) by American standards, but not as small as other hotels I stayed at, with a fridge and a working area, as well as some chairs, which a number of hotels I stayed at in Japan did not have. No microwave in the room (there were some in the lobby) but that is not unusual at Japanese hotels either, only one hotel I stayed at over 12 nights had a microwave."

"Great location with nice, but not big room. Breakfast is good , traditional Japanese food. There are options for continental breakfast as well. From this location, everything is walking dustance: Gion district, restaurants, shopping, subway station."
