"It was a pleasant surprise to walk into the lobby and be greeted with complimentary drinks, snacks, and a DJ on Friday afternoon. The staff was also very friendly and helpful when needed."

The Orleans Hotel & Casino

The Orleans Hotel & Casino

10/10 Excellent
"We got a newly renovated room and it was nice and clean. Loved it. Spacious as well. The entire casino/bowling alley itself smelled strongly of cigarettes though, so it bothered my sinuses a lot. That was my only issue. The staff was kind for the most part and we enjoyed it. So just be aware of the strong smoke smell, but if you’re in your room you’ll be fine."

Palace Station Hotel and Casino

Palace Station Hotel and Casino

10/10 Excellent
"Palace Station is truly a hidden gem in Las Vegas! It takes you back to the old-school Vegas that so many of us know and love, while still offering the comfort and amenities you want today. From complimentary self-parking and valet parking to great food and beverage deals, Palace Station gives you a lot of value for your money. The pool area is first-class, and the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and updated—all at a great rate! What I really love is that everything I need is right there. I can check in, relax, eat, have a few drinks, enjoy the pool, and just CHILL without ever having to leave the property. And you absolutely MUST visit the Oyster Bar! Be prepared for a long wait, but trust me—it is worth it! I'm already looking forward to my next stay. Palace Station is now my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Las Vegas!"

Hampton Inn Tropicana

Hampton Inn Tropicana

8/10 Good
"It was a decent stay. Didn’t get a chance to taste the free breakfast. This was my first time staying off the strip in Vegas and it will be my last as I didn’t get the Vegas feel. In Vegas I’m used to walking thru the casinos to get to my hotel which is what I enjoy about Vegas. The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel was its elevators. When you push the floor numbers the whole elevator buttons cave in and the elevator ride is a bit bumpy 😩😩. Rooms and hotel smell good as well. Staff was nice"
