"The staff here are great. The carpets need to cleaned. If you walk around your room with bare feet they will be dirty. Also there was mould growing in some of hallways. We stayed in a room on the 5th floor. It looks great but I would not stay here again. They also need to do something about the noise from the street. We were woken up between 4-5am every morning with trucks reversing and collecting rubbish."

"First the good: location was just a 5min walk to Don Quixote, short drive (8min) to the cruise port and close to lots of bus stops. The staff was friendly and was able to accomodate our request for a late check out. They offered $5 breakfast that was quite hardy and tasty. Now the bad: This was rated as a 3 star hotel so I expected it to be on par with a Hampton Inn. Especially since the pictures made the place look quite decent and it has good reviews. Instead this felt closer to a motel....

"We absolutely loved it! Cute little neighborhood hotel. Everyone’s friendly and greeted us from the time we got out at belldesk to unload our luggage to checking in, and housekeeping. Very intimate and retro environment. Seemed more authentic in culture and Waikiki history than other hotels. We look forward to our next trip soon. "

"Great location. Quiet but in walking distance of downtown shopping. So glad we chose an ocean view room. Absolutely gorgeous! Beach wasn’t crowded. The lobby was very welcoming and open with a lovely breeze as you entered. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners (and a cocktail or two) in the Hau Tree Restaurant. No wonder it is a popular place to eat. Staff was very helpful, efficient and friendly. We would highly recommend the Kaimana Beach Hotel."
