"Lovely property and the couple managing the property were absolutely delightful. They were incredibly accommodating and kind. The beds were comfortable, the pool was fantastic, it was clean and quiet and the view was magnificent! "

Perfect location outside of the hustle & bustle of Dominical, but a 20 minute drive away. Grocer & restaurants even closer.
No A/C but decent fans available. Itâs cooler in the evenings âup the hillâ from Dominical. "

"We recently stayed at El Faro and had a fantastic experience. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and always quick to answer any questions we had. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of.
One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from our balconyâit was the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. Mornings were a treat, too, thanks to the delicious breakfasts served each day.
The location truly canât be beat. Itâs just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park.
We had read about the hike up the hill to reach the hotel and were a bit concerned, but it turned out to be easier than expectedâand even enjoyable (our groupâs ages were 11-58)! We were lucky enough to spot a sloth in the trees along the way. For those who prefer not to walk, golf cart rides were always available.
A fun surprise were the capuchin monkeysânicknamed âLa Mafiaâ for a reason! Theyâre very entertaining to watch, but definitely keep your distance and your food hidden.
All in all, El Faro was a perfect base for our group Rolf two families. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio.

Spa was Great! I had a massage two days in a row because of a very sore neck! Andrea was great!
We stayed in the Ballena suite, which was wonderful!
The burgers at the restaurant were the size of my sonâs head! The sushi was great too! Everyone was very helpful!
If you go during the rainy season, know that it rains a lot and some of the stairs get very slippery! I was hanging onto the railing and I still slipped and fell. I was fine, but just a heads up that when it rains it POURS and the floors are very slippery so be careful!

"We loved this place! Stayed on a family vacation with me and my 13 year-old, and it was great - appropriate for couples, families, etc. The pool was great, the location on the beach was awesome. The igloos were so cool - cozy, but enough room to move around and hang out. Breakfast at the hotel was delish. We would highly recommend to anyone going to Manuel Antonio!!"
"Where do i start!! Absolutely love our stay at this hotel within the staff Moses at the bar. He was absolutely wonderful. Check-in was very easy. We had a grand bungalow and our room was phenomenal. Housekeeping was very clean. Weâre around a lot of different restaurants five minutes away from the national park it was one great experience. There are a lot of animals and monkeys around in our hotel which was a plus my mom was at another hotel nearby and there wasnât a lot of animals to see around their hotel but ours had a lot, which was one of the best parts of the experience while youâre laying down on the pool you will absolutely see the animals once in a lifetime experience thank you all for such a great time"

The breakfast was amazing and pizza at the restaurant was good. So excited to see monkeys outside balcony. I saw more wildlife at Shana than at the park. I definitely recommend this place.
