"The room was clean, the bed was nice, the shower was a little weird since the door didn’t completely close in my room, and my toilet flushed weirdly.
They cleaned my room every day and it was great stay, but I never really stayed in my room and I was out and about all day. There was some street noise, since you’re super close to Copacabana but overall a good place to stay since you are so close to everything."

My son and I spent 22 days here enjoying all the football, foot volley, Açaí, Roxy, Marcacana tour, Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches, Christ the Redeemer, Urca Mountain, Sugarloaf, Lapa Steps, Roxy, Brazilian culture and more! The hospitality and helpfulness of the desk speaking Spanish, English, and Portuguese was awesome. Housekeeping kept our stay clean! Thank you for sharing your country!

The ac didn’t work well, so it got stuffy a few times in the middle of the night. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and well kept. Great restaurants and shops at walking distance; not to mention the beautiful Copacabana Beach. I would stay at this hotel again. And Mr. Altino (I think that’s his name), the very nice gentleman who works at the front door in the afternoons is the best!

For my travel style it was perfect. The place is older, but it is clean, comfortable, a few blocks from Copacabana beach, and surrounded by great restaurants. The service was great and the free breakfast was filling. I would definitely stay here again. The room I was in was on the smaller side but it was adequate for my needs.

My stay at the ibis Hotel, Rio De Janeiro, Copacabana Pesto 5 was great.
Good location.
Everything nearby and within walking distance.
I advise that you pay the $6 cost for the breakfast. It is more than worth it.

I couldn’t believe the rate I paid for the location I stayed in. Room are very basic but it’s a budget hotel for budget travelers and it’s unparalleled.
Wonderful help from the receptionists especially Priscilla who went out of her way to help me around the city and respond to my every question despite my poor language abilities. Certainly going back and certainly recommend it

This hotel was at a great location (right between Ipanema and Copacabana beaches). The breakfast was fantastic, and the front desk folk were very helpful. They even let us stay an extra 2 hours after check out, since our departure flight was in late afternoon. I would definitely stay there again.

The internet is the only bad thing about the hotel. It is very slow. The hotel is clean and mordern, safe and secure. As with anywhere else in Rio, be careful walking around at night and definitely not long distances alone. Location is perfect!! It was a great stay.

This hotel was great; the service was great, the breakfast buffet was pretty good, the room was big and comfortable. The internet was not great but I think that’s everywhere. It is very close to the beach and local shops.

I arrived at 11am but unable to check in until 1pm, normally it’s 2pm. I had my luggage stored and went out for lunch. The hotel is just 2 blocks to Copacabana beach, so I did went there and had my lunch on the beach restaurant, there are multiple choices. I didn’t exchanged money in the airport, I did exchanged it 3 blocks from the hotel. Ask the front desk, they will give you directions for it. Last week it was $1 = 4.7 reals. At the airport it’s only $1=3 reals. I took uber from the airport...
