"Good location right in the middle of everything. Walkable to Ollantaytambo train station, main square, restaurants, shops and the archaeological site. Basic hotel, large room. Ok breakfast nothing fancy. Nice and helpful staff but speak limited English. Reasonable price."

The staff were very helpful and the rooms are nicely done. The hotel is around 15 minutes away from Urubamba. At the same time, It was relaxing and will definitely stay at this hotel on my next trip.

Hotel Lizzy Wasi sits behind a nondescript wall in a skinny alleyway in Urubamba, but once you walk through the door, a whole new world opens up. Gorgeous gardens and the smell of fragrant jasmine await you. Run by US expat Lizzy, Hotel Lizzy Wasi was the perfect place for our family.
Our stay here was a last-minute decision because of a flight delay, and we couldn't have been more pleased. We arrived at 9:30 at night from Cusco, our nerves frazzled from a miserable 24 hours of travel delays...

Immaculate hotel. Smallish room. Very accommodating in helping with transport . Packed is a free lunch for our early departure.
Little facility with English, however, just added an English speaker as we were leaving. Highly recommended

My girlfriend and I were breath-taken at this beautiful place, the architecture and hospitality was amazing. The front desk and staff are the sweetest and always there to help you in any need. What shocked me the most was the chef! We’ve tried every single dinner dish and all i can say is WOW! We loved every night staying here. Very peaceful and relaxing, this is a highly RECOMMENDED location. Thank you!

The best feature of this hotel was the care that each employee gave to their guests. My family stayed there for 4 nights and received nothing but outstanding and personalized service, which included free airport pick up, called to order dinner to be delivered from a local restaurant and let us eat in dining room (they did the dishes), the wonderful Karina who made fresh eggs and toast each morning with a vast array of fruits, cereals yogurts and homemade cookies to take for a snack. Views are great. The room was really nice. One of the nicest places we stayed at. The hot water is available but not all the time and not for a long time. You are in the mountains so... It's a 10 -15 min walk to the center. The area is really quite and calm. Coca tea is available. The altitude is really bad so prepare to be out of breath for no reason. Only negative was that breakfast was not impressive. If you come from a culture that eats well then just go into town. Overall a really great...

Warm and friendly staff; delicious and fresh breakfast (100 times better than the included breakfasts in the U.S.); lovely and clean courtyard and room; close location to the bank, Orion supermarket, and Plaza de Armas. Easy/medium walk to just about anywhere. Would definitely stay here again if we ever end up back in Cusco! Oh, they also provide free coca tea which can help some people with their altitude sickness. We felt very safe staying here, and they also stored our extra suitcase when we...

The room, bathroom and property was extremely clean and modern. The staff were very helpful. We had an early morning excursion so they had breakfast pre packed for us. Great WiFi, hot shower and there’s a restaurant on property incase you don’t feel like walking into town, which isn’t too far. Excellent property

This is a great hotel tucked in the upper heart of Ollantaytaytambo. Traditional stone building with communal rooftop terrace that has breathtaking mountain and ruin views. The main woman who runs it makes you feel at home with her warmth and great restaurant recommendations (picolos for the traditional pizza). The room has a nice bathroom, clean comfortable beds, directv and decent WiFi. Definitely worth the price for staying close to macchu picchu train station in an impressive town of its...

This intimate hotel was just the ticket for this town. Beautifully manicured courtyard, free parking and rooms made for families. As of October 2024, the bridge through the center of town is out, but it looks like it will be restored soon. We received excellent customer service from the staff, especially Alex. They took a genuine interest in ensuring our time in the Inka sacred valley was pleasant and that we got the most out of our brief time there.
