"We had a lovely stay at the Fuji View Hotel. You can choose a room facing either Mt. Fuji or Lake Kawaguchi, though the actual view depends on the weather. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide range of both Japanese and Western options. The hotel is easily accessible from Kawaguchiko Station via a free hourly shuttle or the Saiko sightseeing bus that stops nearby every 30 minutes. "This is a newer vacation property and theyve been open less than half a year at this point. The rooms are very clean and they provide amenities The staff are very accommodating as we checked in super late and they were extremely helpful. The manager at the time Naoya is an incredibly good natured young man. I would definitely stay here again. It is also a stones throw from the train station. They provided some breakfast pastries in the freezer and some bottles of water in the fridge."
