"Hotel was clean but we were told it was a love hotel that also offered rooms by the hour. Found things in room we weren’t used to and although it was a clean room we felt we should have been told ahead of time."

"The interior was very beautiful. However, the location is complicated and may be difficult to find."

"Dining is good affordable "

"This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided great service, and I really enjoyed the thoughtful little touches, including the complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night noodles). I was especially pleasantly surprised by how delicious the welcome grape juice was. Although it is a bit of a walk from the JR station, it is definitely a hotel I would recommend."

"We absolutely loved Yamate Inn. The staff was very friendly, the room was decent, and it’s in a great location; lots of neat places along the street on which it lies. If we return to Kofu (likely) we will definitely seek it out again."

"The property is very nice and had no problems with staff. They were very nice and helpful. However, for those looking to access public transportation this hotel is not for you. "Stayed here on a family holiday in 2 double rooms. Convenient location as we were driving and good value. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms with amenities available as required. Dining options are available nearby; the sushi place directly across the road is excellent! Would be happy to recommend to others who would like a slightly unusual place to stay "

"The staff was excellent. They went out of their way to be helpful."

"The staff was incredibly nice and the incl. buffet breakfast and omakase dinner was excellent. The in room private onsen was very nice with views of Mt. Fuji. The nightly drum show was a nice touch. 10/10 recommend!"

"Great experience! The onsen is good! Bathtoom could be a cleaner. "

"Nice onsen, good facilities"

"Staff friendly and everything was perfect."

"Excelente hotel"

"It is a nice, clean simple hotel. Staff was helpful and the room was fairly spacious. My complaints are: (1) the breakfast was well below average for a hotel, and (2) the location is, well, in the middle of nowhere."

"Great place to stay "

"Loved our whole stay there. The view to mt Fuji was incredible! We got lucky and got to see it clearly 2 days in a row! The rooms were comfortable and great!"
