I saw someone share photos of this Onsen on instagram and had to see if they had rooms available. I’m so glad I did! The property is stunning, the staff are incredibly warm and kind, and the food was exceptional. I got a room with a balcony over the fish pond and a private bath and I enjoyed every second of my stay. I will absolutely come back the next time I am in Japan. We arrived late but the owner came to pick us up at the bus stop and took us back to our place. Check in was smooth and the lady gave us a little tour of our cottage as well and explained everything. The place was spotless and had a perfect view of mount fuji. There was plenty of space and we could have easily fit more people in our cabin than just the 4 of us. 5/5 Definitely recommended for anyone especially if you come in bigger group! There was only 3 of us so it was plenty of space. They picked us up at the train station. Service was excellent. They were very nice toward us. I unfortunately only stay at this lovely villa for only one night because I already booked else where. I will definitely stay there again if I have a chance. It was pretty close to the lake as well. On a clear day, you can easily see Fuji-san.

This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided great service, and I really enjoyed the thoughtful little touches, including the complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night noodles). I was especially pleasantly surprised by how delicious the welcome grape juice was. Although it is a bit of a walk from the JR station, it is definitely a hotel I would recommend.
