"We had a very pleasant stay at The Beeches. The staff were helpful and the facilities exactly as advertised. I would recommend the restaurant and bar - both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Dinner especially, featured unusual dishes, good sized portions all beautifully presented. Our suite was clean,if slightly worn around the edges. Bathroom well equipped. "I was allocated a room which was really small, noisy from the lifts going up and down for two nights. I went to the front desk with my complain, thanks to CARRIE for changing me to another room which was big, clean, quiet and really beautiful. I even added another night stay because I felt so happy. "Struggled to find the place got sat navved. The room was not huge but the bed was very comfortable I got some quality sleep and the breakfast was very good with a wide choice. Very convenient for the city centre. Car parking was a touch expensive £15.95 for 24hrs in the old narrow laned multi storey virtually next door. "The staff at the blue jay pub were absolutely lovely and so helpful ,all i have to say is probably a member of staff needs to be alocated in the hotel to save keep walking to the pub to get extra milk ,sugar and toilet roll ,oh and the doors from the hotel room doors are the most loud and scary ones being slammed for hours and hours on end and the floor from the room above us we were room 108 is the most loudest floor heard every footstep all around there rokm so came back from weekend stay...
