Enormous deck overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Room is clean, modern, with enormous windows to capture sky and sea. Hosts Giovanna and Francesco are welcoming, willing to allow dog-loving guests to socialize with their amiable Boxer, Bart. Owners on premises, and available. Only five units in this lovely home pitched cliffside. Walk to town is close, but involves stone steps up the hillside.Parking on premises makes coming and going easy, so best to drive to Taormina in my 74-year-old opinion....

We had a wonderful experience here. Check in was very easy and smooth. The location was right in the city center which allowed for easy site seeing and walking to food/shopping. There is a cable car a short walk away that takes you to the beaches. The hosts were very nice and helped us with booking a car. This felt very safe as you had multiple keys to get access into the building and the room. I feel a solo traveler would be very safe with this hotel.

This is an old world hotel. Half of it is a 600-year-old monastery. The grounds are exquisite, filled with beautiful gardens. The location, Taormina, could not be more spectacular. We were a large group of people who were accommodated very nicely. There are many rooms, nooks and crannies, where you can hide away and read a book, go for a swim in the pool, or a walk in the gardens. Town is right outside the door. A beautiful property with an ideal setting overlooking the vines. Great pool area. We had a cabin with quick access to the amenities. The location was just a short drive to access hiking trails on Etna. Dinners, wine & serving staff were excellent.

Ah Taormina...the unexpected jewel in our two week trip to Italy. Location location location. You're on the main street where locals do the evening passegiata.
