"Clean room, curtain and light controls at the bedside. Excellent and attentive staff. Bus stop right in front of hotel and a short walk to Vauxhall station. Great location and view of the river. "

"The rooms were very poorly laid out and didn’t have any glasses, fridge, shower door c shower storage, or extra pillows. We asked for pillows three times and never received any. The hotel staff was not polite and seemed bothered when approached. Worst part was the smoke detector was set off by the shower steam and we had to change rooms at 10pm. No accommodation apology was offered and they spoke to us as if it inconvenienced them. the location was the only positive."

"This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it could have been smoother. We weren’t given the room type we’d booked. It was sorted but trouble not needed. Would recommend not having a garden room as it’s much noisier. Terrace bar was lovely. "

If you're staying as a couple and prone to needing the loo in the night, you may need to climb over your partner. If you're on that side there is nowhere to put stuff or plug stuff in. "The penthouse had a sofa bed that had a horrible mattress and the bed made loud noises even with slight movement. Couldn’t sleep all night and woke up with backache and a headache. The lady at the front desk was rolling her eyes at the other guests. Not worth the money. Worst bed I have ever slept on, the view from the penthouse was also not good."
