"The property is a beautiful old house in a delightful historic village. The owner has decorated it with taste and style and everything is of the finest quality. The owner also goes to a lot of trouble to make your stay comfortable, providing breakfast early for us before we headed to the airport and phoning the village pub to see if they had a table before our arrival. I couldn't recommend it highly enough - 10 out of 10 is just not enough!"

"All was superb EXCEPT for the vacuuming which left a lot to be desired. However the staff everywhere were supremely helpful and friendly. Thanks to our stay at The National Hotel, we were able to contact a taxi that took us to a very small area east of Dingwall to honour our ancestors, so we are still pleased and would stay again."

"Perfectly adequate for my purposes. Room was pretty clean - particularly the bed linen and the bathroom were immaculate. Service from the staff was excellent - very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. If you’re looking for budget accommodation this is ideal. "

"This is a great wee place to stay if you are stopping off or looking for some cheap and quick. The staff were amazing and super helpful. And offer use of the kitchen if I wanted to make some food. "A lovely B&B, the room was beautifully clean & well equipped, nice touches like fresh milk, sweet treats & bedside phone chargers which was really useful. The breakfast was amazing, locally sourced meat from the Butcher with some of the nicest black pudding I have tasted. "Wonderful host and very good breakfast provided. Cereals/fruit/eggs/bacon/tomatoes/mushrooms and toast cooked to order and nicely done! Real coffee also appreciated. The bed mattress was lumpy and pillows completely flat. In need of an upgrade for a decent nights' sleep. The property is out of town which I hadn't fully realized. It is about 15-20 mins to town. We drove one night but parking is not easy. Area felt quite safe to walk around. Not a picturesque part of town. "

"What a wonderful hotel - despite my stay being very short I was made to feel very welcomed and comfortable. Rooms here are very spacious and clean. Breakfast was very very good!
