Located in a nice quiet town. Everyone is extremly nice. Breakfast was good and even had the option to be served in your room.

Enjoyed a great 3 night stay at the Hideaway. This is a true Bed & Breakfast. Our bed was comfortable and our private bath had been nicely modernized with helpful shelves and racks. The breakfasts were prepared to order from a balanced menu. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Due to the rain we did not get to enjoy the outside sitting area but it looked inviting. Really lovely B & B just a few minutes walk into the centre which had plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants It’s also near the Orrest Head walk with spectacular views. We ate at Tapios one night for delicious tapas and highly recommended them. Our second night we ate at The Pig ( name changed to Tilly’s ) and had their Cajun chicken burger… yummy! The rooms are very nice! The surrounding area is so quiet and beautiful. We loved our stay at Crow How!

Stayed in the Parisian suite. Absolutely gorgeous. Will book again and will try another room because they all look fab.

Victor and Johanna were so friendly and warm, we felt valued. The breakfasts were delicious! The hotel was clean, comfortable and we appreciated the easy parking. Being so close to restaurants and the town center made walking about so easy. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Wonderful room and staff. Breakfast was brought to the room. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants yet out of the high crowd area.

Everything was great! We arrived late and John was very understanding to wait up on me. Breakfast was delicious - they even have vegan option. Location was literally perfect for a nice easy hike up Loughrigg Fell. Bonus - we even got a book from John and Megan! Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.

Wonderful hosts. Great breakfast. Updated modern bathroom. Clean comfortable bed room. Ambleside was great place to stay. So many good restaurants nearby. Laundry mat around corner. Short drive to all kinds of activities. I’ve never seen so many outdoor stores before! Really good stay!

Super clean. Only one block from town center and lake, on side street. Wonderful hosts. We will return.
