"Amersham old town is very quaint "

"The staff were welcoming and friendly. Loads of parking spaces. Grounds well maintained and pretty. Bedroom was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Food served in the bar was tasty and portions were good but highly priced for the standard. Wine is very expensive! Breakfast options good and fast service. The hotel does need updating. The central heating was permanently on and no thermostat on the bathroom radiator so it was unbearably hot. Same issue experienced in other guest rooms...

"It was only a brief stay but the staffer very helpful and the setting is lovely."

"Hotel itself was nice and cozy but it was clearly short-staffed. The few present staff were super friendly though. Liked the fact that they allowed us to take our kitten there which made the whole trip far more enjoyable. The room we stayed was a spacious suite with a comfy bedding."

"Lovely grounds for walking. Great public rooms. Dinner menu rather limited if you were staying more than a couple of days. Room was comfortable although bathroom could do with an update. "
