A great stay

While planning our trip to the UK, my daughter and I wanted to either stay at a Manor house or Castle. Middlethorpe Hall was the perfect choice. It is several miles outside York, but less than 10 minutes by uber or taxi. The staff was gracious and solicitous. We arrived just in time for tea. What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. Broadstairs is nicest small town of 3 thanet towns. It is in the middle of margate and ramsgate. Yarrow is a hilltop very beautiful building in the eastkent college broadstairs campus. 7-8 min walk to beach. Building is very elegantly refurbished, elegantly simple and so friendly staff. Hotel is small but has a spa treatment center. Very Good bar and comfortable restaurant. I suggest During weekends if they do not close the kitchen at 9pm but at 10pm guests would enjoy more. Stayed one night, excellent dinner and breakfast. Enjoyed the spa/pool. This is an attractive, historic building, well renovated interiors. Staff was efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.

Lovely property with helpful staff. Sundays are busy with the Sunday supper - lots of families - but otherwise a quiet, restful stay!

We had a beautifully renovated room on the 7th floor. they were doing construction on the floor above one morning and the manager of the hotel couldn't have been nicer to make up for the disruption. very professional staff, clean, modern rooms. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to London.

We had a newly remodeled room in a building a short distance from the lobby which was in a restored hall. The room was fantastic with full length floor to ceiling windows, remote controlled ceiling windows & every other amenity you can think of. We even had to open the door with an old fashioned key as the room was decorated in an old English style. Breakfast was very good & the free wi-fi worked well. This is one of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in.

Food is excellent. Lots of stairs and steep paths so perhaps a problem for some. Staff are super 👌

The hotel was perfect, our room clean and kept nice over our stay. The breakfast was unbelievable, so much choice. All very tasty and fresh, so very pleasing to the eye and the stomach.
