"On arrival, my Sat Nav was unable to direct me to the entrance of the hotel. I have never been to Leicester before, so I called the reception for a few suggestions how to get into the car park. "We enjoyed our stay at the property"

"I have stayed at the Belmont many times. It has everything going for it. It is a 5 minute walk from the station,, it has a huge car park, and it runs along New Walk, the most attractive part of Leicester by far. The downside is that the Belmont needs refurbishment, but I understand the financial constraints. In particular the bar area needs an upgrade. The seating needs recovering, the lighting is dated - the side lamps are 1970s if not earlier. They have been tickled with a feather duster but...
