The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. We stayed for 4 nights. The location is amazing, right in the center within walking distance to almost everything. Very good room size and modern bathroom. Loved their breakfast!

Gorgeous hotel with amazing views of the city. Although it is a little outside the city, you can walk (about 30-45 minutes) or the hotel provides transportation at certain times of the day.

This charming hotel is located up above Lake Como in a small village called Brunate. You can take the funiculare up to Brunate from Como for 5 euro roundtrip; it's a 7 minute ride each way. The hotel is steps from the funiculare and is situated in an area with absolutely beautiful views. The Agriturismo Al Marnich is one of the few remaining authentic, family-run agriturismo, serving locally grown, homemade food both at breakfast and dinner. This is a beautiful hotel with a full delicious breakfast buffet of hot foods and ham, cheeses, etc. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious and it’s located on the waterfront.
