"The place was amazing exactly what we had been looking for and to be greeted with a smile and chat, everyone so friendly, the atmosphere there is hard to explain but it was beautiful. A stroll down the lake to all the cafes and restaurant. We had a lovely dinner we got everything we asked for and more. We will definitely be coming back again to beautiful Taupo. "

"Very old motel but was clean. Stayed over Christmas for 3 night room was not cleaned only towels replaced during that time this was not explained at check in. "

Other than being clean and tidy there is no skimping on the little things that other properties of a similar price point are minimising now... Still has real milk, plenty of utensils, plunger coffee or bags, sky TV reasonable check in times etc. "
