"An overnight stay pre-flight in a lovely hotel. The staff were really warm and helpful on arrival and throughout. My room was upgraded - the bed was massive and comfortable if you like a firm mattress. The food in the bar was lovely-the crispy duck salad was delicious!! Glad I’m booked in again for the return journey!"

"The double room was adequate in size, clean and fairly quiet given it was on the 2nd floor, faced the street and the entrance to the hotel. The bathroom was clean, had good space for toiletry bags and extras. The shower was a bit confusing to operate; however water pressure was good and hot water plentiful. Our only complaint was the lack of ac. The room remained stuffy throughout our stay. The location was good. The train station, a good pub and shops are across the street. Most of the sights are a good walk. Plan on taking the train, the bus or taxis. The staff is very attention and helpful!"

"The Deluxe room was delightful - large, comfy, good facilities, and fluffy robes! We were only staying a few hours as we had an early flight, and couldn't work out how to pay for parking hourly, but the gentleman on reception at the time was so helpful, and sorted everything out so we could leave at 4am with no hold up at all. The location is great for Heathrow T5."

"Older property in good location-easy walk to Paddington station. One light bulb in room burned out and there is a trick to flushing the toilet, as stated on several reviews. Plenty of hot water. NOTE: the water gets very hot . English breakfast included. Would stay again just for convenient location and on site breakfast."

"Great location - we had an early check in at Terminal 2, so love being able to walk in no more than 2 minutes through covered walkway straight into the terminal."

"We were greeted by very friendly staff and enjoyed them throughout our day. They had a sweet little coffee shop right in the lobby. Our room was clean and efficient. We slept well in the comfortable bed. Loved the location and felt very safe."

"We had a club room which was good, decent size and clean. View from room was very good also. Breakfast was in club lounge and was ok, had better but was included so can’t complain. Location was great and will stay here again"

"Freundliches Personal. Komfortables Zimmer. Gutes Fitnessstudio. Schöne Auswahl beim Frühstück. Günstige Lage in der Nähe der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. In puncto Ästhetik und Service sind noch einige Verbesserungen nötig. Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt. Den vollen Preis würde ich allerdings nicht bezahlen – dank des Online-Rabattes hat es sich gelohnt."
