"I stayed with my two kids 9 and 13 and they loved it. Amazing place with lovely people that staff it, we enjoyed being able to book the private onsen for half hour on the first night and although we couldn’t book it for the second (no times suitable as we had a early morning check out) we got to try their public onsen which was great too. "We were in the Hydrangea room downstairs, with its pretty screens and a private balcony, and plenty of space. "A very peaceful location with traditional lovely Japanese breakfast and dinner. The onsen was convenient as it was next to our room. We had a slight issue at night as there were many fire safety lights and these disturbed me on the first night. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and fixed the issue for our second night.
