"Overall the stay was great (Room was good and meals were good too) except for the payment part. Our family stayed for 3 nights and Hotels.com had charged us already for 1 night before the trip. So we should only pay for 2 nights at the hotel after our stay. But they charged us for 3 nights. The reception officer kept saying that we needed to pay for 3 nights. After trying to reason with him, I spoke to the manager, who confirmed we only needed to pay for 2 nights. There was no apology for the mistake and if I didn’t insist that they check again and again, we would have been billed for 3 nights. "

"The front desk staff (Ms. Ayu) is amazing. She checked us in very quick, helped to provide dining options, gave information on how to take local transportation to Kawaguchiko and even came to our room to provide utensils for my family to enjoy our dinner in iur room.
