The hotel had a good location. Hotel was welcoming, the lobby was clean and nicely furnished. The staff were super helpful in giving suggestions on how to see the city and get around. The food was reasonably priced and tasted good. The air conditioning worked, however, the toilet and shower had minor issues with water going down the drain.
Staff were very welcoming, walkable area, no complaints

All is well except for no water!!!
Overall our stay was very nice. The restaurant and Bell staff are really helpful and friendly. The young Bell guy greeted us at the taxi and carried our luggage to the room and made sure everything work before he left. And when we were leaving, another Bell guy made sure we had a taxi to Airport at 5.30am in the morning.
The only thing is they turn off the water, so no water to shower after a long walk in the hot weather. They will turn on for a few hour window but it will be off again before you know it.
The rates also include breakfast which was decent, after all its Cuba, the hotel food is probably much better than what they eat. Again the restaurant staff are very friendly.
Pros: friendly staff, especially the "concierge" guys outside who help with getting you a ride and finding your destination. Air conditioning was super nice in the humidity, and there was wi-fi on the lovely terrace outside if you had a wi-fi card.
Cons: we had to call the front desk anytime we wanted water in the room, even to flush the toilet or wash our hands. Sometimes it would be a few minutes, sometimes they said they were out of water and it would be a few hours. When paying for a hotel, being able to shower and use the toilet shouldn't be too much to ask for!
The best way to explain my 4 night stay at Sercotel Paseo Habana, it was like being in the military and spending 4 nights in the field. Maid service is poor and they don't leave wash clothes in the room. They never exchange out dirty towels for clean ones. However, the most disgusted things about this hotel, the water gets turned off. You could be in the middle of a shower and the water cuts off. Don't think about flushing twice because the tank might not refill, and pray there's enough water left in the pipes to wash your hands.
Stayed here just one night but was very pleasant. Good food, great ac in room. Only complaint would be lack of cold water in shower, it started out cold, then nice, then boiling and could not get cold water again. But since we were only there one night did not say anything to them. Room was clean as well as the rest of the hotel.
Staff very friendly and helpful, air conditioning worked well and tasty breakfast

Stay somewhere closer
This is not a hotel's problem but the water service was down. There was constant noise outside and, of course, the airconditioning was very loud but you can't help keeping it on. I hardly slept during my stay.
it was 10 CUC to Old Havana by a cab, and it may be better to stay closer because you are out by 20.00 US right there already.
At breakfast, we found some buns had mold and I left one I had picked up beside the tray of the buns. A chef came out and put it back to the tray. Were they special buns?
The coffee was good and the lady server we had was kind. I was afraid to ask about the buns.
A bellman tried to overcharge us for a taxi to the airport, which made me really mad.
