We stayed for 3 nights and the location could not have been more convenient with myriad restaurants nearby (Merkava was AMAZING for a break from tacos) and Parque Mexico 1 block away to explore and people watch. "The owner is a racist. She smokes and the entire house smells of cigarettes. The bathroom had putrid water sitting in the bathtub. She gave us the wrong keys and would not help us when we could not open the door. Her housekeeper came and confirmed that the keys were wrong. The check in times were not clear and my confirmations gave differing information so I arrived 'after hours' and was not able for some time to know if I had a place to stay for the evening or not. Be sure to communicate ahead of time to get door codes, instructions on door code quirks and how to get a key for your room ahead of time. "

"I love Condesa DF it’s in the heart of my favorite neighborhood La Condesa. The hotel sits on a landmark building that is simply beautiful . However, the rooms sure need a renewal of some of the furniture and carpets. They look and feel kind of overused. Overall a great place to stay in Mexico City. "
