"Wonderful cabin, clean and inviting. Scenery from front porch was amazing. Michael and Robin were extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here. The cabin was close to several attractions while still secluded. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. "

"Was very very disappointed. I had a reservation for Saturday night. I called on Thursday night to cancel due to a family issue that was last minute. I was told they would cancel the reservation but had to charge me the nightly rate because it was too late. I said theres nothing you can do, they told me it was property policy no exceptions. This is the epitome of corporate greed, and shows why the world is in the shape its in. I personally will never stay at another Hampton Inn or Hilton brand hotel ever again. I would rather sleep in my car. The simple fact that they still charged me despite my calling 2 days ahead with a legitimate family issue and them not allowing anything to be done is simply disgusting!!"

"Room was clean bathroom faucet was leaking so water and something all over counter.staff was great breakfast room so small you couldn't get 5 people in it. I left a night early dogs barking in rooms. Neighbor room up at 5am talking and laughing like it was 2pm. They were very rude ."

"Our stay here was very relaxing. The home is very old and that gives it such personality. Loved the old furniture, pictures, decorations, etc. Our host made an amazing breakfast with homemade strawberry jam and whipped cream. Would stay here again next time we go to Franklin!"

"If you’re looking for some peace and quiet—this is the place. 30 minutes from town and in the middle of the Nantahala National Forest and the lake close by, it’s a wonderful spot to relax and recharge. The cabin was spacious and mostly everything you need. My wife and our two dogs stayed for two weeks from end of February thru the first week in March. Very quiet during that time and can imagine how beautiful it is here in the summer and fall seasons. My dogs absolutely loved walking in the forest by the house to sniff around. All of the amenities made it feel like home away from home. We were able to work comfortably from the home and the surrounding area was picturesque and the people were wonderful. Would love to come back during the busy season to enjoy the lake and activities. Just an amazing place. "

"What a beautiful, relaxing experience this was! I rented the cabin for Valentine's Day weekend for my girlfriend and I. The weather was just right for the experience we were looking for. This was not far from Bryson City so we took a mini trip there for one of the days. The cabin was extremely nice, the views were great, and the host, Dan, was great! He was always available to reach out to if we needed anything or if we had any questions. We will definitely plan on doing another trip to this cabin one day. It was just what we needed to get away for a bit from regular life and relax."
