"This hotel is a gem! I wanted to move in. The staff was extremely helpful. We parked our car with them and the fee is 40 euros but that is absolutely the going rate for hotel parking in Ortigia. Luca, the Desk Manager was a delight. We made last minute reservations and he was so helpful and welcoming. We absolutely love our rooms facing the sea. I slept with my window open and enjoyed the sounds of the waves all night. Luca also made dinner reservations for us and we had a marvelous evening. I wanted to move in. The hotel is new but comfortable. The bathroom/shower was well laid out and luxurious."

"Overall, we had a good stay at Grand Hotel Villa Politi. The hotel has a beautiful historic character and was very clean. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of both continental and traditional Italian options. The swimming pool was another great highlight. Its location was very convenient for travelling by car, just outside the ZTL, with on-site parking available. However, the hotel has quite a lot of stairs, which can make getting around less convenient, and we found the staff could have been more helpful and attentive. Overall, a good option for exploring Syracuse, especially for travellers arriving by car."

"We were in a suite - it was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely modern bathroom. The staff were very helpful when we checked in and the valet parking service was very useful. Breakfast was just fine. The location is great. Highly recommend!"

"What a wonderful place to stay. The property is beautiful. The rooms are well appointed and very clean. The pool area is great to sit and relax to admire the beautiful landscape. The staff are absolutely fantastic. They are welcoming and very helpful. We loved our stay here."
