"I was very happy with my recent stay here. Many people in their reviews, knocked the hote and staff, but I found that the staff was attentive, and willing to accommodate requests even at midnight without any pushback. My room was clean, neat, and in the best condition possible taking into account that the property overall is a dated building. I would stay here again."

"Hidden gem at a great value. Pool is good. Fairly quiet. Outside sign of "Alden Hotel" makes it a little difficult to find. Weirdest thing is the super small bathroom sink with the strange loopy faucet... I've never seen anything like it... someone made the wrong choice there. Makes it a torture to rinse your face or trying to do anything for that matter."
