"The apartment is in the old, rough heart of Naples; this review is written with that in mind. I loved the apartment itself (the entrance is dark/dingy) - it was modern, clean, felt secure, and was in a great location in the heart of centro storico – not a tourist-sanitized area, but full of loud, brash people living their lives outside of tiny apartments under drying laundry. "Staff was friendly. Helped us when Expedia had canceled our reservation for some reason. I suggest not to look out the balcony to the back ally. Some very bad activity but some stories to bring home. The city of Naples is not clean. Nothing to do with the property but just not nice area like Rome. It was nice that they didn’t rush us out at check out time. "
