This property is fantastic if your desire is to go to a laid back property and have a relaxing but fun time. It is not packed with party hungry 18 year olds. We noticed the guests were mostly couples and friend trips made up of ladies or couples. While they say tips are not expected, they really are. For the price of flights and the say along with the amazing food options on property, throw your server or housekeeping staff a few USD. Be careful when it comes to converting dollars to pesos - pay...

Itās a great hotel. The kids had fun at the waterpark. It is tough getting around the resort because you have to get picked up by a golf cart every time. Itās a massive resort! The food was pretty good, everything was a little pricey, but it was to be expected.

When the only complaint you can have about a place is that they are almost TOO attentive, then you are really staying at a true 5 star place. Everything here is first class and it is truly a very different experience from the typical Playa all inclusive places.
First off, the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in a lagoon suite and to sit out on the deck and hear a myriad of birds singing and watch fish, turtles, (and crocs!) swim by was really a great experience. Almost feels like being...

Technically this wasn't a vacation, it was our honeymoon. I found this place on some Google list of top 10 most romantic honeymoon spots and it did not dissapoint. The grounds are beautiful. The staffs mission in life is to make sure you are happy and have everything you need. And it's not just for tips either, it's genuine. Whether you want to do nothing or everything, you will be pleased. We just got back and are already planning a return trip. The rooms are VERY private, no noise from other...

Stayed at the Zen resort. Great welcoming environment. Relaxing. pampered. Spa too expensive for what they offer, though. Excellent restaurants, although food somewhat scant in some of them (Piaff and, De Autor). Quality of drinks intermediate. Beaches resorts with excellent infinity pool and wet bar. Azul and Lucca best places to eat. Watch out at Piaf restaurant with sommelier trying to have you choose from an expensive list of wines not included in the "all inclusive". "All...

Our family of five visited for a quick weekend getaway for spring break 2021. This was our fifth trip to Grand Residences. The property is beautiful. The master suite is huge, decorated well and kept immaculate. Said that, it's the service and hospitality that will keep you coming back. Everyone from the front desk to the grounds keepers are polite and courteous. This is a SIX STAR resort. Two restaurants on property with a beach bar that serves food as well. We were looking for a small non-resort hotel on the beach where we could relax peacefully, and Petit Lafitte is exactly that. As soon as we arrived at Lafitte we were welcomed home by the desk staff and concierge. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and made us feel comfortable, and were more than willing to help make our stay a very pleasant one. This place is Heaven on Earth! Our original trip was supposed to be for 5 days and we had to extend 4 more day (awww poor us LOL) due to bad weather at DFW (worst ice/snow storm to hit DFW in 72 years). We had room 818 beautiful! We had a private pool and our own Butler David just moments from the beach bar and beach. When we had to extend we got room 909 right on the beach! No pool but did I mention right on the beach! Our service was spectacular, everybody was so friendly and helpful and...

Went to this resort with family and my 4 year old son. He had a blast and so did we as adults. There was so much to do to keep us entertained. . I would definitely recommend staying a minimum of 3 nights as there is so much you would want to explore. The rooms and overall resort was clean and well kept , all of the staff was welcoming and friendly. We never once had an issue with food or room service, the drinks were strong and all you can eat was a plus. The water park was the highlight of our...

Let me start by saying when we arrived on Monday, July 1 we found the resort to be beautiful, clean and a very friendly staff. As the week went on, we had so much fun in the various activities provided by the entertainment staff. Juan, Ana, and Sandy were excellent. They had us up and moving all day long. As the week went on, we heard that the hurricane watch approaching. This put me in a slight panic and went straight to Edgar the concierge. I had lots of questions and he reassured me that...

Unassuming from the outside, what awaits inside is more of the same, but with a minimal, spa-like feel. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms and common areas are clean and inviting. The location can feel a bit suspect at night , though not threatening, but this gives way to a pleasant and almost park-esque mood during the day. A great value I doubt can be beat in PDC.

Stayed here 2 weeks for 7 days here and within the first 6 hours Iād fallen in love with the hotel. Breathtaking views of the ocean, luxurious interior designing, clean bedding, amazing food, and most importantly- warm and welcoming staff who were there to help with every question. The area is full of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. The rooftop view with the pool and ocean is exactly as seen in the pictures. I was disappointed with the room description and layout. On my reservation the description of the room was "one bedroom family suite". When I got there the room was just a basic standard room with no separate bedroom. This is difficult with young kids and I felt the description was misleading.

This is our second time staying at Ventus El cid. We love staying here! The accommodations are beautiful and very clean. We do spend the majority of our pool time over at the Marina pool. We have young kids and there is a slide and cliff you can jump off of. Plus just a little more lively with fun music and activities. We call this one the fun pool and the other the quiet pool! The kids love to paint the ceramics by the pool, walk up and get their drinks, and make bracelets with the activities...
